The Yanbo Group, in order to implement the annual brand core of "ocean sustainability," has collaborated deeply with the Ocean Fishing Foundation. At the press conference of the Ministry of Agriculture's Fisheries Agency on November 27, they shared the efforts and achievements made in promoting sustainable seafood over the past year and witnessed the historic moment of "Love the Ocean Stores" surpassing 2000. As a leader in supporting sustainable seafood, the Yanbo Group not only obtained the Love the Ocean Store certification for its eight locations' brunches in July but also launched the creative dish "Golden Tender Tower of the Knife Fish" themed on sustainable seafood in September. Additionally, they organized a total of 11 events, including beach cleanups by employees, chef volunteer cooking, and tourist itineraries, to comprehensively advocate for ocean protection and sustainable fishing.

The "Golden Tender Tart with Mahi Mahi" recommended on the Yanbo brunch menu is inspired by French savory pies. It cleverly combines freshly fried mahi mahi fillets with seasonal fresh broccoli, onions, and rich cheese, all blended with a crispy tart shell and infused with delicate egg mixture before being baked. The dish is rich in layers and exceptional in flavor, showcasing the chef's craftsmanship and commitment to sustainable seafood.
Employee Education AspectThe knowledge of the Taiwan seafood selection guide is integrated into the employee beach cleanup session in the form of a team challenge. In 2024, a total of 141 employees and their families participated in this program during four nationwide beach cleanup events, responding to sustainable oceans. Not only does it implement actions to protect the Earth from within the group, but also...Traveler Experience AspectThe Yanbo Group this year has also collaborated with the Ocean Fishing Foundation to promote the "Nanfangao Fishing Port Seafood Tour" at three locations: Su'ao Shijiduan Spring Pavilion, Yilan Pavilion, and Yanbo Flower Time - Yilan Traditional Arts. This initiative aims to lead travelers into in-depth tourism, further understanding the connection between fisheries and seafood, while actively conveying knowledge about sustainable oceans and the importance of protecting Taiwan's fishery resources.
The Yanbo Group has long fulfilled its corporate social responsibility through practical actions,[Social Contribution Aspect]The group's chef uses two types of sustainable seafood ingredients, "mackerel" and "swordfish," certified by the Marine Heart Ecological Label, as the theme for the dishes. They collaborate with professional instructors from the "Marine Fisheries Foundation" to hold a public welfare program called "Charity Cooking Feast" at social welfare bases in rural areas. In response to the statement made by the Taitung County Mayor during the "Every Class Eats Swordfish" demonstration cooking event in August this year, regarding the oversupply of swordfish and difficulties in export, the Yanbo Group immediately took action to provide support and sponsorship, making every effort to help resolve the industrial difficulties that fishermen rely on for their livelihood.
The Yanbo Group hopes to call on the public to pay attention to issues related to "ocean sustainability" through concrete actions in the three major areas mentioned above. The "Golden Tender Tower of the Mantis Shrimp" launched by the group is also a testament to caring for the planet's most delicious offerings. Starting today, the public is invited to enjoy creative Taiwanese snacks at Yanbo brunch, savor the flavors, and protect the ocean!
